Today we traveled from San Sebastian, Spain to Sarlet la Caneda, France. A 4 1/2 hour trip by freeways.
But who said anything about Freeways (Really Toll Roads). So we took the road less traveled. Through French villages and along the back roads. Thankfully we have a GPS (somewhat old) backed up by Apple Maps and Goggle Maps on Linda's phone.
Our first stop was for lunch in the town we were in when it was lunch time. CastelJaloux, somewhere in France. Everyone was out for a Saturday lunch but we found seats and had great salads for lunch. Outdoors of course.
Outside our lunch stop.

Tomorrow we get up early to go see some cave paintings. I guess travel days can be fun, but also exhausting. Good Night All.
