Someones balcony on the street
Another church in Parma
We reach the Duomo and the attached Bapistry. Very grand but full of tourist groups. Glad I am not with one of them. Paintings and frescos by Correggio. Lovely. And also some service with singing. A nice experience.
The Bapistry is right next door, go figure, so we buy the tickets to enter it plus the church museum. Hard to get good pictues in the Bapistry, but I try anyway. The museum was not that great and very hot even though it was underground.
Duomo walls.
Correggio.

A panorama of the Bapistry.Funny how we end up in churches on Sundays.
We walk and see the empty streets of Parma.
More jasmine. It is everywhere.
Looks like my friend MartyPedestrian only zones dont apply to Ferraris
We then get to a highly recommended restaurant for lunch. Only bad review came from some group from Texas, who couldnt get in because they had no reservations so they didnt like it. We did. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Carpachio of octopus for me. Scallops for Mary Ann and souffle for Linda
Three happy tourists
Always room for dessert
After a great meal, time to go home and rest. I went to the local street market which really wasn't much of a big deal. We ate at our local pizza place one more time then home to pack for the trip tomorrow to Cortona, a small hill town in Tuscany. Parma and the apartment where we stayed were truly a delight.
