What can one say about Pompei that hasn't already been said? I'll try with few pictures. We got an early start for us and were in the park by 10:00 AM. A good time because it can get very hot there in the afternoon. And it is walking over ancient stones and uneven ground. We of course forgot to bring water so we could only drink from the old Roman fountains. Lots of tourists from cruise ships today. And lots of Koreans. We see a lot of Pompei and then split up. Patty, Amanda and I go off to see some sights further away, while Kathy and Mary Ann head to the closer ones. Here are a few of the pictures I took

We had pizza and lots of water just outside the park where we all met back up. It was decided to leave Pompei early tomorrow and stay tomorrow night on the Amalfi Coast overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Seems like a nice plan. Everyone is resting now and we will have a late dinner.
